FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
At Long Table Events we keep it as simple as possible. First, you’ll fill out a questionnaire that becomes our blueprint: your story, your style, your non-negotiables. From there, we plan and style the wedding to match you — not a cookie-cutter template. You’ll have access to the best vendors on the island, with us guiding you for the perfect fit.
How does the wedding planning process work?
Is styling in addition to the planning fees?
For some Bali wedding planners, yes. For us? No way. Styling is included with every full-service wedding.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Depending on destination, travel fees will be discussed.
How much does a wedding in Bali cost?
Bali weddings can range depending on a number of factors, including, number of guest, location, scope of styling & design and choice of vendors
Can I book a villa on Airbnb for my Bali wedding?
Technically, yes — for accommodation. Realistically, no — for partying. Most Airbnb villas strictly prohibit weddings or events (and you don’t want your day shut down mid-speech). Their capacity for larger celebrations is also limited. We only work with villas and venues that are wedding-approved — and we’ll send you a curated master list so you can choose the ones you love.
Do I really need a wedding planner in Bali?
In short: absolutely. A Bali wedding planner and stylist is your golden ticket to a stress-free luxury wedding in a country you may not be familiar with. Miscommunication within the different languages is something we very much urge you watch out for and there are also many legalities or processes that are different in Bali than other countries.
Many venues also don’t accept a wedding without a planner for this reason, so it is best to start the journey with one you feel supported by so the entire process can be as enjoyable as possible.
Uluwatu for the cliff-top “wow.”
Ubud for that jungle-romance vibe.
Canggu for the modern, lively party crowd who love great restaurants and bars.
Nusa Dua for full-scale resort luxury.
We’ll help you pick the spot that matches your style (and your guest list).
What are the most popular areas for Bali weddings?
Yes. Many villas curfews are 11pm. Want to party into the night? You’ll need a venue licensed for late finishes, we even know the ones with underground bunkers for a DJ dance-party to 2am. We’ll steer you toward the places where the music doesn’t stop early, and that you’ll love.
Are there curfews for Bali weddings?
Why is Bali sO popular FOR weddingS?
Because it’s got everything — cliff tops, beautiful beaches, jungle backdrops, incredible restaurants and bars, luxe villas, and five-star resorts. It’s the perfect place to have all of your favourite people together to celebrate you.
We will help you with this one. The laws are constantly changing and currently foreigners cannot be legally married in Bali. The solution? Host your legal ceremony in your home country. It’s a nice way to enjoy this special time with those that can’t attend the wedding in Bali and also another fun celebration! Laws are constantly changing so please discuss this with your planner for the most up to date information.
Do I need to handle legalities to get married in Bali?
Absolutely. Most couples do — it’s half the reason Bali is so popular. Get married, then stay on to soak up the island. Your guests can turn it into a holiday too, it’s the best!
